How I find wasted time in your business (and what it saves you)

How I find wasted time in your business (and what it saves you)

Most businesses lose 20 to 40 percent of their team's time on manual, repetitive work nobody's bothered to fix because they're too busy running the business to notice.

I'm Christian Brown. I'm a senior software and AI engineer. I've spent years building the systems most small businesses are only now being sold. The audit is how I turn that into a concrete win for you, sized to your business and your budget.

The process

The audit is two short conversations, a week apart. The first finds the problem. The second hands you the fix.

Step 1: the 15-minute call

You talk, I listen. Five questions that funnel from broad to specific, until we name the single task that costs you the most. No pitch, no jargon, no prescription on the spot.

Every worthwhile AI win pulls one of three levers:

  • Effectiveness — makes the business more money. Fewer lost leads, faster quotes, more closed work from the same effort.
  • Efficiency — gives the owner hours back. The repetitive work that eats evenings and weekends starts running itself.
  • Quality — makes customers happier. Faster answers, fewer things falling through the cracks, a business that feels on top of it.

The mistake is trying to fix everything at once. The job is to figure out which lever matters to you right now, and the one task dragging it down.

Step 2: the homework

Between calls I research the right fix for your specific bottleneck. One tool, priced, with a first step you can take this week. Not a list of ten maybes.

The full audit goes deeper. Every area of the business gets scored on an impact-effort matrix. An 8-point readiness review covers manual work, customer communications, data, content, sales, knowledge, team readiness, and risk. You get a scored 0-70 readiness number so you know where you actually stand.

Top 3 opportunities are ranked by impact times ease, not by what's trendy. There's one quick win you can ship in under 2 weeks, and one bigger bet with rough cost and time estimates. And I tell you what not to do yet, and why. That builds more trust than any pitch.

Step 3: the prescription

We meet again and I hand you the fix. You can run with it yourself, or I set it up with you so it's working by next week. Your call, no pressure either way.

The full audit ends with a 1-page written summary you can act on or hand to a partner.

What you actually save

Let's say you run a 15-person service business. Two to three staff members spend six hours a week on manual data entry, scheduling follow-ups, or generating reports nobody reads anyway.

That's 180 to 270 hours a year of pure waste. At an average loaded cost of $35 an hour, that's $6,300 to $9,450 a year in time that gets nothing done.

Now throw in error rates. Manual data entry runs 2 to 5 percent error. Fixing those errors costs another 200 to 400 hours a year. Multiply by $35 again. That's another $7,000 to $14,000.

So a $2,500 audit is looking at $13,000 to $23,000 in recovered value. Even if you only implement one quick win, you're getting a 5 to 9 times return on the audit itself.

The free mini audit covers one bottleneck, one fix, zero jargon. If the full picture is worth it, you'll know by the end of the call.

What you walk away with

  • A named bottleneck, in plain language
  • A number for what it costs you each week
  • One concrete fix, priced, ready to act on
  • A clear next step, whether or not we work together

The next step

You can implement the fix yourself with the roadmap in hand, or I can set it up with you so it's working by next week. Either way, you're not locked into anything. The roadmap belongs to you.

Not sure which audit you need? Start with the free 15-minute mini audit. One bottleneck. One fix. The only thing it costs is the call.
